Fishing out of Boulder Harbor has been good for stripers in the 3- to 4-pound range, but anglers have been catching the fish throughout the reservoir. Over the weekend anglers found good action for striped bass near Hatchery Cove. Most of the fish were in the 2-pound class though one fish did push the scales past 4.5 pounds. Don’t overlook the Overton Arm. Live shad are the preferred striper bait, though frozen anchovies have been catching the fish. Both threadfin and gizzard shad can be found in the Government Wash and Las Vegas Wash.
