Anglers have found good action for striped bass in the upper basins. Cut anchovies have been catching the fish. The nighttime hours have been especially productive for anglers fishing under lights. In the Boulder Basin, stripers are boiling outside of coves in the early morning and evening hours. Top-water lures like white poppers or a translucent Zara spook are working best for the boils. Anchovies are always a good backup bait. Night crawlers have been catching channel catfish.
