High temperatures are making it tough to catch rainbow trout at Willow Beach. Stripers are hit and miss from the shoreline, but boaters are reporting success just south of Willow Beach. Swimbaits and anchovies are producing catches. The striper bite is beginning to pick up in the Cottonwood Basin. Reports say that fish up to 7 pounds have been hitting anchovies or taking trolled swimbaits. At Katherine Landing, anglers are reporting that green sunfish are taking spinners.
