Steelhead fishing on Necanicum was slow last week, mostly due to low and clear conditions. This weekend’s rains should put it back in shape for early next week. The Necanicum’s hatchery run has probably passed its peak, but there is still opportunity for decent hatchery fish, and the wild run (catch and release only) is just getting started.
