Construction work at Junction City Pond will take place sometime in the next two weeks.  During that time, access and parking will be limited. This work will likely create noisy, dusty conditions. If you park your car at the site while the work is ongoing, your vehicle may need to be moved or you may be blocked in.

The pond was stocked the week of May 31 for the last time this season with about 1,000 hatchery trout. A few trout might survive in the deepest water throughout the summer, but for the next few months anglers should focus on bass, bullhead and bluegill.  This pond is stocked regularly throughout the winter and spring.
