Rainbow trout are showing a preference for lures over worms and PowerBait. Fish up to 4 pounds are taking Panther Martins and Rooster Tails. Just south of Willow Beach, kayakers are landing striped bass on jointed swimbaits. Black bass between 3 and 4 pounds are hitting a variety of hard plastics in coves near Katherine Landing. Striper boils are beginning to pop up near Davis Dam.
