Action: Open waters within 100 yards of Dash Point Pier to fishing

Effective date: Immediately, until further notice

Species affected: Salmon and other food fish.

Location: Waters within 100 yards of Dash Point Pier

Reason for action: The Dash Point Pier remains closed, per order of the City of Tacoma, due to structural concerns.  This Fishing Rule Change will open the waters surrounding the pier to fishing while the pier remains closed.
