Malheur Reservoir is quite low but fishing has been great for rainbow trout. There is likely ice forming on the reservoir. Anglers should use caution venturing out on early season ice.
ODFW has recently lifted possession and gear restrictions on this reservoir because we anticipate low overwinter survival.
