Fall Chinook fishing picked up last week on the Alsea but has slowed down with the low and clear water conditions. Fish are still around to be caught but things are slowing down for the end of the season.
Wild coho retention closed on Sept. 30 on the Alsea.
Trout fishing in streams closed on Oct. 31 and will reopen on May 22.
