As of March 8th, Jakes Creek Reservoir has 19 inches of ice with 2-to-3 inches of snow on the ice. Fishing remains fair for trout in the 10 to 16 inch range. The road going in has some areas of snow and will have some soft spots as the temperatures increase. With warming temperatures and the possibility of rain, road and reservoir conditions could change quickly. Note: Ice fishing holes must not exceed 10 inches in diameter (NAC 503.583).
