The Forest Service Road (FR 46) up the Breitenbush River has re-opened. The river is flowing a bit high due to snow melt, about 800 cfs. Flows below 400 cfs are ideal. It will be stocked this week with about 1,400 trout. Fly-fishing techniques such as nymphing are likely to produce more action than other methods.
