The Wilson River has a hatchery summer steelhead release and that fishery usually picks up in June. There should be some fish around by now, and fish will be distributing through the river system as the month progresses. Best fishing is generally during low light periods- first thing in the morning and late in the evening, especially as we get into warm summer days that brings out the swimming crowd during the heat of the day.
