Fly-anglers continue to report productive and consistent winter fishing in the Fall River. Nymphing has been the most effective method. The river was last stocked in early September. ‌

A reminder to anglers that new regulations are in effect for Fall River and the river is now closed to fishing below Fall River Falls Oct. 1 through May 21. Fall River above Fall River Falls remains open year-round. Restricted to fly-fishing with barbless hooks only.
