The Trask River is on the drop and should fish by the weekend, although still a little on the high side. When it does green up there should be steelhead throughout the system. The Trask does not have any hatchery steelhead releases but gets a run of wild steelhead that provide catch-and-release opportunity, and the occasional hatchery stray is caught.
