Focus on hydrilla mid-lake with your favorite plastics, and throw topwaters by grass in watermelon and sungill colors. Drop shots can be effective as well with 4- to 6-inch robo worms. Also try topwater baits such as buzz baits, spooks and Pop-Rs.
