Massive amounts of runoff have curtailed most fishing activity on the Feather River, reported Craig Bentley at Huntington's in Oroville. "One local angler had some encouraging news", said Bentley. "He caught a nice four-pound steelhead while drifting a nightcrawler in the Bedrock Park swimming pond. The same angler reported seeing a striper jump at the Thermalito Afterbay Outlet.
"The low-flow is running at 4150 cfs and rising, the release at the Outlet is 17,000 cfs, with the total flow from the Feather reaching a scary 83,400 cfs before it joins the Sacramento at Verona."
