Captain Clowers reports that he fished San Diego Bay on Saturday with a pair of clients and the fishing in the big bay remains great. They found the water temp at 72 degrees from Seaport Village down to 24th Street. The clients caught "lots of spotties" They used Gulp and shrimp in the camo color on a 3/8 oz football head. 3" swimbaits in brownbait color also produced according to Clowers. Clowers likes to get his clients on bonefish as well, and said he had a rod out all day drifting ghost shrimp but didn't run into any until the last hour of the day. But in that hour, his clients boated 12 bone fish using 6 pound test, a 1/4 oz sliding sinker on a carolina rig with live ghost shrimp.
