Striper activity is good. Anglers are finding the fish in deeper water and catching them with cut anchovies. Shelves in and around coves are where fishermen are finding the smallmouth bass. Silver crankbaits or red and green colored soft plastic baits are enticing them in. Weather coming from the south is going to be unpredictable again, so fishing could be hit and mess as systems pass through the area this weekend.
