The Truckee's current flow in Reno is 549 cfs. This year’s river flows are some of the best we’ve seen in the last 4 years. We’ve been getting some great reports from anglers that know how to fish the Truckee. Fish exceeding the 20 inch mark are not that uncommon. Fly fishermen can have success nymphing with mayflies, caddis, hoppers, stoneflies and crayfish patterns. Fishing will only get better with the cooler weather. Over 75,000 fish have been stocked in the Truckee River this year.
