The road was very muddy though with the colder temperatures is probably frozen in the morning. Expect afternoons to soften the road and 4WD will probably be required. No recent report of ice conditions here, but this lake is generally not far behind South Fork for losing safe ice so there should be some open water and unsafe ice.
