The Wilson hatchery winter steelhead run is from wild broodstock, as such it mimics wild steelhead timing and is best mid-December through mid-April. There could be a few early steelhead around, but numbers will be low.

The Wilson is closed to the retention of wild fall Chinook this year and there are no hatchery releases, so numbers of retainable Chinook will be very low, especially this late in the run.

Cutthroat trout fishing closed on Oct. 31. It will reopen May 22, 2023.
