The North Fork Nehalem has been getting moderate returns of hatchery winter steelhead and fish are throughout the basin. Conditions will be questionable this week, but there may be some fishable days depending on how much rain we get. Most of the hatchery run in this basin are early returning fish and started in December. A portion of the run, however, is from wild broodstock and those hatchery fish will continue to come in all the way through March.
