The North Fork Nehalem saw some good steelhead fishing late last week, but blew out Sunday night and is just starting to green up. It may stay a little high this week but should be fishable and hopefully fishing will remain good. Most of the hatchery run in this basin are early returning fish and started in December. A portion of the run, however, is from wild broodstock and those hatchery fish will continue to come in all the way through March.
