Pro angler Gary Senft was on Bartlett Lake on March 22 (nice day, before the weather turned colder, windier and rainy over the weekend). He reported his group caught 17 bass. They weren't particularly big, but they were a lot of fun. Best fishing was done off points, caught in about 10-15 feet. Used 5150 pumpkin worms, most came on drop shot.
Also at Bartlett Lake, Ryan K. reported a few days ago, "The bass and catfish are on fire at Bartlett, but the crappie are few. Don't fret, we let all the big bass go. We caught 20 bass, many around 3 pounds. Only one crappie over one pound, but a dozen under 5 inches. Most crappie were black faced. Even catfish were coming up under the lights.
