Occasional thunderstorms have cooled the water down and that has improved catch rates for those braving the elements to try their luck. Trout are taking the usual small spinners, such as a Mepp’s in yellow with red dots. Bait fishermen are having luck using night crawlers or rainbow PowerBait.
