Steelhead fishing on the Wilson was good the end of last week; it slowed a little over the weekend although there were still plenty of fish caught. The Wilson will be getting low and clear by this coming weekend but there is still plenty of opportunity. There are hatchery and wild steelhead (catch and release only for wilds) throughout the fishery, and fresh hatchery fish still coming in. The hatchery run on the Wilson last through early April. The Wilson has some popular drift boat runs and a lot of bank access off of Highway 6.
