The current flow is 1,800 cfs, and the average river temperature has bumped up to the mid-high 40s F. With the welcome rain for this weekend this section of the Rogue is likely to continue to be off color, depending on how much it rains. Fish activity and movement should continue through the weekend with the increased river temperatures.‌

The middle Rogue above Hog Creek is closed to Chinook fishing.‌

Summer steelhead and hatchery coho are spread out. Anglers are reporting spotty success with the off-colored water. Pulling plugs or plunking are classic dirty water techniques that can still get you into a fish. Target eddy and current seams and travel lanes on the inside corners to encounter migrating steelhead and coho.‌
